Criminals may provide authorities with fraudulent identity documents during an arrest to avoid fines or conviction. LifeLock looks for matches of your name and date of birth in connection with criminal activity related to felonies, misdemeanors, traffic violations and more. These notifications help protect you from being falsely associated with criminal records that may lead to your arrest or hinder your ability to obtain employment.

Our court records background alert may contain information from county courts, state courts, state Administrative Office of the Courts and state Department of Corrections. As a result, we cannot guarantee the accuracy of the records provided because they are obtained from public records and other third party sources that may not always be accurate or current.

Any credit monitoring from Experian and TransUnion will take several days to begin after your successful LifeLock plan enrollment.
