Anyone who is not careful can be a victim of ID fraud. But seniors and children are the most common victims>A good thing to remember is that if it seems too good be true, it most likely isn’t true.

If you have young children make sure you are aware of what they are doing, especially on their computer. And if you have senior citizens in your family try to make them aware of the scams and frauds the are “out there.” Tell them to talk to you and confide in you if someone becomes overly friendly or seems too eager to help them make money. It might be legitimate, but then again it may not. be cautious.

The results of of ID theft besides the financial impact, there is also the emotional impact. So the easiest way to avoid all this aggravation is to just remember NEVER give out any personal information about yourself. this includes your social security number, credit card numbers, bank account info, income tax ID number and even your driver’s license number.
